HOUSTON CITY COUNCIL .... TODAY

MEMBERS

HCC currently has 143 members who live throughout the vast Houston area in Brookshire, Channelview, Cypress, Friendswood, Houston, Humble, Katy,  Kingwood, Magnolia, Missouri City, Pasadena, Pearland, Richmond, Spring, Sugar Land, The Woodlands, and Tomball.  Some even love their HCC chapter sisters so much that they drive in for chapter activities from the Austin, Cold Spring, San Antonio, Sealy, Montgomery and Willis areas.  One sister even attends her chapter meetings online via Skype.

CHAPTERS

We are proud to say that we have 13 Chapters from Ritual of Jewels  to Torchbearer with a mix of ages and degrees.  Some of our chapters meet twice a month and some are career chapters that meet once monthly.  Some meet during the day and some at night. Some chapters even have members who live several hours away and participate in their meetings by speaker phone.  These meeting options enable any sister or prospective sister to find a chapter that will fit their needs.

ASSOCIATE MEMBERS

We also have 3 Associate Members who are Members-At-Large or members of chapters not affiliated with our council.  Associate Members are added to our Roster and subject to the same dues as regular members.  They are eligible to receive communications and attend HCC meetings and functions.  Since there is no HCC chapter affiliation, Associate Members are not eligible to vote, become a council officer or be a committee chair.  Anyone who would like to potentially become an Associate Member of Houston City Council should please complete the form under the "Contact Us" section of this website, and the Vice President of HCC will contact you to answer all your questions.

OUR COUNCIL NEWSLETTER, "THE WICK"

Our WICK Chair publishes our newsletter monthly.  Members send in information about their chapter’s doings about socials, ways and means and fun info at the end of each month.  This is compiled along with council happenings, service project info, conventions  and news from the International Office.  Check out the WICK - HCC Newsletter page on this website for present and past issues.
