What a journey the COVID-19 challenge continues to take us on to the 2020 TX State Convention. We are committed to hosting this convention when it is safe for our sisters to attend. We have been checking all the governmental advisories and actions other large groups are taking including, but not limited to, the current continued rise of new cases, the recent recommendation from the CDC that we should continue the use of masks and social distancing for another 6 months and the cancellations of Disney World’s Halloween celebration in October and no cruise ship sailings out of Galveston for the next 6 months. All these factors have led us to decide to postpone the 2020 convention to April 2021.
We sincerely hope that those registered will keep their registration with us and look forward to celebrating in April in a much safer environment. We promise you a weekend with a fun journey through the seasons. Be prepared to be wowed by the sights, sounds, and activities of a different season for every event, with lots of yummy food, many surprises, and loads of prizes!
